Key Responsibilities are as follows:6 g, m1 m( G& G7 O2 {& h: H' r* G
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services : T) I) o# ^; m- |
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
1 [# x6 A% h" Y6 T•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
$ \6 a I/ f2 o8 x6 ~( c•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
* B0 \* V/ Z" L i/ v/ r•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;+ r* z9 e4 X7 M; f' b/ v3 ~8 f
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;, W. W5 n- z: s& y c% P) |
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;. S- X7 T% ^4 ^2 y+ w7 Q
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
- A0 B, ^2 l! [•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
