Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  . x+ ~- d" ^3 v0 _3 f* r
Salary: Based on Qualification & Experience

+ f7 N" S2 s( X/ }! y, j. Q, H+ UThis position reports directly to the District Program Manager9 [# l9 U' d( C. l" i+ o
& {: Y( ?; B* o; j
Key Responsibilities are as follows:
+ F& _7 w  J8 m8 D6 \' b•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 1 W$ D/ U5 u! I1 _9 F
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
! c2 s  K1 o5 }" }0 H' j•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
8 w0 x9 i- A/ p3 h" J•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.) r( @1 Z5 O) U" B
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential2 @$ v' Q+ S* Y* o

; O% }! P# t6 |$ h# d% K•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
8 F" f' L/ Q4 m! Q0 I# J* Q•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
; O, l; R5 p5 K) O3 _1 N/ [•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;; R& v9 l( r# L4 f7 q8 }
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential : m! U5 v5 l1 s& |3 f
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.0 W1 }7 H. o* p0 L: X& E9 d
