•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
5 i! b" A1 B1 i- ?•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies- ~& j, y/ j1 I$ P* g" T
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
5 \* Y/ h; V6 }6 J1 c; M•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.. j% U$ V. z( W
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:& G1 H# z( T8 B0 Z; X4 T* }
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
8 l9 ^0 Z1 h. u2 s! \( R6 K) `4 f n•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;* I7 O9 n; C& e' G
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;/ Z! E# f8 `" p: B% n
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 8 V& Z' \* |. K% E' [) @
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
