Key Responsibilities are as follows:) Q; r' N! l4 n/ {
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 5 u" w( A- E( W' o) ?
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies
+ m" o7 b! |" h•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
9 s M( o$ M/ }, `! q% r•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.( L0 o; V8 \! w) x5 O! ~$ t
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential: g( ]% o: u. O) N2 w1 W

, Q3 b- F* ]8 z- e4 J•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;* q4 T' M/ D; R3 T1 G
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 b& x' _; |) x% u2 l3 y1 S" M•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;- g( X r& m* X1 k L
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential ( T; S1 A! g& r8 e. C C
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.$ } H6 K6 S! m7 s" p. q k
