According to the Oxford Dictionary, both fish and fishes can be used as the plural form, but fish is more common. & w2 V( v( R. b3 J# z
1 z9 v$ ]" F' M$ y( IWe use fishes when talking about different types of fish. For example, I caught five fish today and they were different fishes.
