Job Responsibilities
: r G [* Y. K5 _1 Z• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
. i; t) T0 P9 I• Oversee hotel security requirements.
& f0 M& Z- t- l% F) @! g5 T) T• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
4 W/ ?% L, X. W• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
/ y2 H+ Y# h% J3 q" @; i• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.

• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
7 J0 c" L3 H% v• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.& L7 S& O* W$ w8 Y: S! M( _5 a E
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. . m2 e0 O, p# v# a2 v
• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
( L# V$ t T. m* l5 H) b• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. % Y0 X3 h8 q z; s9 {( o( Q
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
8 c+ G ?; [! a! ?• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
& ^ D5 S d+ H+ U/ l! C4 D \• Attend Cluster meetings.
- r, L1 }9 g8 f) o7 a& p# B• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report. ]( }$ _7 z0 y+ H6 u: E
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department
) B$ }, U. B% l: d9 |! h• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
# p. D6 C0 y1 k5 k• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center

• Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;3 f; n2 B! ?6 `2 D( @! C6 ?
• Ability to lead and develop;; }8 p7 u5 q4 a- }6 c+ W
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;' B, w* y4 n- g
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;0 E2 `7 l% b3 T$ L: o+ M1 r- M
