Job Responsibilities
N$ f& Z5 I/ G# r• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues./ Q8 Z7 o/ q# d8 C; _
• Oversee hotel security requirements. 4 c1 K0 I& f% o- @0 w7 `2 a) _
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.4 C3 X8 ~& [5 L) E2 [
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. * }; s& p) H, t3 n* e
• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.4 L( j7 E% w/ k8 l" \6 X
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.1 ]. h. W' W: c5 f0 x+ r$ w- V
• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.! T8 ^$ Y% h# ]8 T7 b
• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave./ G8 C: i ]/ M8 c' u/ O @
• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.

• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
) n% L) @: f* n+ K• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
8 W' v3 z- R3 k9 M• Attend Cluster meetings.
( Y, K6 {0 c D• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.

• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies/ t% O' ]( q& ~: d0 e/ Q
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center! m# d4 M' h/ J: a
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:
* ]# a. d( p& L$ G•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property' a5 F/ X3 l5 t) m) ]' u
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;, B' Y' {2 }6 K3 P* h
• Ability to lead and develop;6 [) a; h- y: W) r+ R& G
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
