Job Description:
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

9 L1 ]# S- p% w5 x2 F. b• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
4 a% M. \4 @( S) C$ w+ x2 @7 _• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
8 B) k3 f: T  m" e+ l• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
5 S% E# g0 E$ d9 b  e. {' e& g• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
3 u$ F* G/ R( R9 F& W• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
7 W& E& k0 h& M: ~• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
* L$ _" ^2 {6 o' q• Participate in trade shows;
• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
0 @  z9 ?! f5 x, [" {• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
& }+ M: R  X* h0 _) p, p• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
9 p, d' s0 x  |  J1 f) d• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
• Ability to lead and develop;
• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
$ j. w' j6 }. q4 S9 P• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
  p3 W3 {0 s+ T8 o' Y• Ability to work within deadlines;
* e0 v" p1 ^0 a3 `7 j• High level of creativity and innovation;
1 s" _) @* q1 L3 G( B• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
4 x2 p7 K+ V9 F* e( L& U' }6 d! _• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
