Location: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.& K" n. \8 p/ B w2 l

5 @& T. I0 V! I" |' f- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment
# W2 z( |' P" T" Y$ k" O. r- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
! Y6 f1 r4 u" r- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
p l' l1 N! r% k4 I1 R- Select type and size of pipe required- F: U5 t& m9 P
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
7 `5 L8 {( N0 ^9 W) L! _- Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system2 s9 d0 P: `" _, W
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
6 m% U1 n6 ?4 q: e" b- Test system for leaks using testing equipment
" j9 _1 L2 _1 G0 w! A- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system- ~' l" U! p3 {
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system* }! W8 A6 L# s, J) u
- Actively participate in the Iyinisiw safety program
% h8 C% ^) y2 ?) w- Other tasks related to pipefitting as may be required during the course of business

Required Qualifications& g' @1 T- c; j# X# Q. r6 n; B
3 E+ M; P8 j+ h4 P& F* Q- Completion of secondary school
9 A c p; C4 S* M1 p4 O9 K- Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation 2 x6 L8 _( p- M* D; P
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals7 t8 t% x2 K+ ?1 g& ^
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, W3 s: a1 Q% y! F% Z+ W# [
- Pipefitter trade certification is considered an asset
4 G4 V/ G* x, a, z- Safety tickets are considered an asset

- Interprovincial Red Seal is an asset
