•Fat tire: You can float on top of the snow if you don't have to go through it (e.g. snow buggies). You have a larger contact patch with the ground for summer. ; C( ^9 h6 V2 B( j3 d
•Skinny tire: Will find it's way through the snow to find some pavement to grab onto. " R4 U! l( b5 w
