Compensation:  Journeyman 1 Automotive Mechanic (or 4th year Apprentices)

Hours of Work:  This position works 44 hours per week.
Days of work are Monday through Friday, Saturday rotation.
Group benefits package starts after 3 months.


Full-time journeyman to maintain and repair an assortment of vehicles with emphasis placed on preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

Diagnose problems and perform all types of repairs to a wide variety of speciality vehicles
  I+ r/ B7 m, O) r! rRequisition parts and materials, as required.
Create and complete work orders, gather fleet information and input data into the computerized management system.
* s+ s/ Y# D2 G+ ^# X' t8 h$ t: E0 YProvide specialized training and guidance to apprentice(s).
- [- |" U( X2 X* Q- L9 x) L) u* YAccess technical information using Snap-on Shop Key on-line automotive support program and communicate using e-mail.
Other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid Journeyman Automotive Mechanic certificate or equivalent recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.
1 a9 P' d  Q$ r3 H$ bApplicants also must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent).
4 Q  ]8 R& v. c* W8 {, bPreference will be given to those who have current experience diagnosing and repairing North American and/or foreign vehicles.
