Responsibilities

·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear
- b6 n! j& @3 S# y
·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings
% q6 z* r! g( n# Z
- e6 k8 b' ]9 \  ^) c( ~·         Reviewing vendor drawings

$ p1 G1 I" a' q+ m·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
+ w8 U# ?7 v+ Q$ c+ o- K7 s
·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.


Position Requirements

·         BSc in Electrical Engineering
- T! ]9 }! S" `  l+ Y
# s3 T5 c/ j  z3 c0 k1 n* f! C, C) J·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must

·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset

·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

8 a  h/ I- s) K+ P·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
