Anticipated Start Date: The candidate is required to work immediately: }; k+ W U9 K: c
7 R; Q- \4 U PPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person A! O) B- m. c( [
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST! I# a; Q8 _6 q4 Y- u4 ?
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately( n- j! ]$ t7 D
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter1 n$ z, |: }6 U& |! T
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents/ j# x. p! p7 J
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker8 `8 g& \! x7 g3 D- Q
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events

• Keep the reception area tidy and clean T1 j2 x& i M: V6 S
• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters! q% M! o2 a Q! l$ {$ J8 {7 q
• Maintain front counter service files5 i' D, S# v5 [$ r

• Good English writing and oral communication skills* p! ?/ P8 P" T- M
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients0 f+ i3 a$ T9 g0 B- `& h3 c4 k
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook) a! c7 x2 U, s
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

Qualifications:
3 z7 b) B9 h* w4 u/ e• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 5 Q# t2 n" k& a) V1 F7 P
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment: m, Z. f* ~8 M s, h7 w1 p: ]: b
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
8 ~" X5 n' j8 C7 O8 P0 k6 G A$ l- E• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
