Job Description:
•        Complete and post staff schedules
•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines
•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
8 J. C  {! v4 s# o" s•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees
7 Z% B* f- y. e•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales
1 i  S; }2 v. z7 G9 R9 j  e8 h/ w•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management
•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway

•        Complete other duties as may be assigned by management.

Skills/Requirements:

! u$ h. j( e/ v" R/ F& o2 REducation: Completion of secondary school is required
0 X# _% Q6 k2 x8 X1 M( ?3 mExperience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
Credentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)
& e  k# ^& q2 VPhysical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
