What is the criteria for reporting a traffic accident? Can I phone it in?
6 e9 }9 M2 g5 k7 q# o- [5 rEffective August 1, 2002, Saskatchewan motorists will only have to report motor vehicle collisions to police if the collision involves:- r' y" P0 X4 z; [
1) Any bodily injury or death;) h. G$ k: m' I/ G
2) A Hit-and-Run;' h4 T7 g2 J; a
3) A driver impaired by alcohol or drugs;4 A, I$ x$ H8 F" K1 X
4) A motor vehicle towed from the scene; M [" X1 z* p" y# t
5) An out-of-province vehicle.

3 M/ i! s) G o6 BNormally, police would be dispatched to the collisions described above. One exception may be an owner's discovery that his/her vehicle has been damaged in a hit-and-run, but the vehicle can still be safely driven to Police Headquarters. In such a case, the owner could make a report in person at Police Headquarters.1 ]! I' ?& z0 i" T0 Q
