Description
/ p  t$ c5 q% m: I  e4 g+ HTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
- q5 L2 j& S1 ~# M# `Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:3 g0 k9 i5 E7 w$ U/ m0 z
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.3 J" F0 N+ z  U0 q
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.1 [" N  q& G% h7 _3 n+ R- V
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
. ]5 U+ u% x  Q8 U7 n/ s8 J•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
0 s6 z! n6 T* j- Y•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. 5 A; h: d; r0 x( z+ B
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
' w. ^8 c0 [9 t( C  z4 X* i! J/ o; `•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.  o' A/ s( A! n. f/ E' r
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers./ P8 m/ N% R0 g3 p
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
! Y5 N+ ^$ h3 e3 @. W7 I•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.

•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications
$ W6 v5 S6 o/ W1 _( S7 lRequirements:& N- t7 g- y- K9 Y& E1 ?
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
6 g6 K6 z' F: F% c. \  n•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
; n: S( `; T) J•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
) C. ?- Q8 \# Q4 Y0 b1 \2 p4 Z•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.4 c- _  f4 C  y3 o# P
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
