Description
5 n! ^% {6 q% kTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
( O- p  M3 e9 J, m# EReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:- @) _+ |# V: G
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.: e/ Y+ G3 u; K* R3 `2 d1 M
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
+ F9 s  {/ O4 V; J4 L  y•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
; a; @2 g! P+ @( j( {5 b•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.2 _: |6 P* y2 G) M: q0 t" u" b2 O
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
/ {5 j3 A1 [; v  V7 `$ b•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.. h) _1 C: m" D) N* {# p
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.% b- }, j$ ^: I/ p
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.; V. ]; U8 G' E/ f% u) V, p; }
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).! W% w: h( T+ m
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
7 L: U, K2 h( o" G/ S1 G8 o•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.$ s* d8 w) m" }; e- E8 N
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
# R+ e' L& _6 e9 x# i& p) z•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.5 P: ~2 f, _# d0 d. D) N: V6 R
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:
5 R, j  n* }8 h$ {) M•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. / j6 c5 `" R. F# |( y0 [8 [! B0 ~
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. 1 X; |7 O- w7 O4 j& @4 M- v/ D$ M
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
. W# k! z( V% I$ p$ m: B$ w; `•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
6 ^2 ~; Q2 J( ~•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
