' S  w) i, X. LTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
" B$ V0 B3 i& W  Y& s+ c- m9 v. zReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:$ @' P: P9 G. S- C% D
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment." A. ^3 n% ?, T5 v" F
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
8 l% T4 j3 e; g. D' z$ [, D% G) }& l•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
! m: P& e. }3 w- g& R. J( w•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.  ?, }( Q+ R0 v. v
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
0 |$ e* k  n1 V: q8 E; A( C•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.6 C. r% O3 k( ~( q/ T2 Q  ?  X$ |' P
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
6 V3 s. j) J0 l8 `$ m" e, L6 c•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
4 N$ W  @$ D" o& g•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).0 }, j+ e* D# N6 F. y, C  z: A% ^
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
0 `5 [+ f1 V2 j0 v. g•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.' G* E8 [" P( C  z; H- y7 v0 _
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.* U& l% w0 |4 v  d# H/ l! z
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.- P  W3 D, O& s% E6 E- j& `9 _
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.6 Y& b+ D. k9 a" R' C$ P8 f; b# V
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications& y2 T7 q) E3 S; |5 M  L
Requirements:; Y% c. }- o  \& r
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
% k1 D2 c" d0 V•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. " |/ |( l( k8 h' [
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 0 K: j  M1 P0 P% u0 h
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
