T# K5 P  }Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
  U6 `. R# O7 B! gMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
6 D: d! N1 ]2 J/ Q•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
- E4 |" u6 O$ i) f# M•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
2 }) M- l9 O! U/ \  p( Z- S•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
( P+ x2 S% H2 }& D* A. _•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
% q" k0 r% Q2 F  @9 `8 @o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
) }0 P/ p/ K/ E" c6 U•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
" l, F0 e: {+ p, i9 h, q2 |$ So        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
& m: r$ k$ t! ?# o! A" io        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
8 O7 K1 w. e+ Z4 E$ m8 E8 t& Ho        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
' |, y. \8 X' p: Q  ~2 a•        Assist in Sales support & training.
+ ]3 `% `% X6 n+ h( q6 y, M•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
0 @: \1 N& A$ ~/ ?; p# n•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
' j9 y- z0 H; g3 E2 |2 |•        Ability to travel worldwide.
