4 t! {/ a8 v/ y2 LEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
6 s& f# M4 a  f7 PMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
2 n, F8 \5 _; q" N5 k" Lo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
4 v5 x) m9 W( o. y5 T; z/ B! qo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
' ]$ ^" q4 i) L3 w, F% q' p•        Track and report all warranty failures
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
0 J6 e+ z1 b' q# {& E) B& t! ~6 po        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
$ M2 s) ^4 `& D* a, C# e9 Xo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
# G& e' |6 L" A- F; y) v) O•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
  z# t  n. K7 a6 e! D1 f. l0 go        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate

+ [8 J, J) c- N5 I; p) F: u0 F- z1 ?+ t5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
+ h" c! A& \9 N; Q3 `•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
8 w8 H/ U; E6 y•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
! W% `' m6 r7 n: K2 M•        Proficient in software use and writing.
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
5 W# c! T, c6 P1 d0 y•        Ability to travel worldwide.
9 t3 n+ _( B- x•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
