Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.7 i4 `7 h- Y9 _
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities5 s1 L B. W5 R0 r% C8 X7 x
• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
2 D- o! @2 s8 G0 L! A/ F% k. i• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.0 i! h% h, ^4 y6 ^1 \0 H9 j* y
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems; X7 @2 O4 A3 Y* }' H+ z/ S
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release/ L) o6 ^3 p- s) W' G
• Assist where needed in application questions.

o New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

o Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.( b: |: ]* e8 d `9 ^

• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Assist in writing and new product specification

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.
