The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

5 ?; a* T7 i' t+ T/ U4 |Responsibilities include:
; w& U8 P( ^4 z6 F• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
+ e- ~& U/ H$ p$ ~( R• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
; {/ r% J; H, k8 g7 ~) s, a• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

1 Z; d+ X# S/ S. }Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
5 P& ~5 p7 m7 P, q+ p• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
2 i# z$ _: R2 H3 b1 ]Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
, h3 ^; N/ @$ v+ E( t; r. r• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
) ?( Q9 o1 V: k$ P/ `4 t: r, k• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
, R1 c9 y9 L' n2 Y+ h/ j2 }: u6 d0 K• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
, |" v1 ]. c" o7 V! f+ U6 |% l• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

0 y6 t& X$ }$ v/ `. ?# R# z& }Skill Sets
1 V2 j: X3 X* w• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care
4 E# u$ p, j5 v+ p" Q• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
