The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

- y/ _, R' I7 H• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
* t) r) G4 c' \: o2 p; x6 N. ?• Program implementation
+ d% X5 W: o8 {- E; ]' L• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
; `  ]- b" S# Z& ]+ v/ o• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
( z! u! P) l2 P• Behavior management
* G% t4 L* |. m- J7 d* r3 u0 U• Medication Administration
9 {: E5 m. s7 H- U• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

) a( J  Y5 E/ z5 j% bMinimum Qualifications:
4 t9 E6 @4 q0 G, M- ^  i3 _Education
0 O: D% m8 a; P& }1 w& \$ q" K& z: L• Completion of a high school diploma
3 D8 ]7 B/ \4 }# w  g• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
5 |& u. n- Y( V( W7 |+ s" ?Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
/ c- Z) `) Z7 a. f8 A/ N6 O• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
