The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

* s) k& ~$ v$ a& R( H0 i) c• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
* V$ K. A2 z% N+ J0 n% c; k• Program implementation
" q" n. n  E* i5 d# K7 Q• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
  s6 @9 Z4 Z) X• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

6 V# U+ \9 O" ?9 }$ I2 WEducation
  b6 |/ k1 j  h& c9 f• Completion of a high school diploma
! J) a8 t3 j3 o• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
/ i* I8 d5 p  o& G' s. I' X• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
$ n6 ?, [5 j- o  W$ r5 }• Good verbal and written communication skills
7 O1 U1 `3 m; Y" f• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
- R2 u1 _4 _: I. L( j# Z' ?Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
