The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection

• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
) ~6 {; ~+ ?8 h  k• Medication Administration
7 V) V8 d1 p+ F4 \• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
3 Y( U" _* y' o) x• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
$ G3 `- j/ k" q5 [. F) @Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  }, U) q& N* W$ J8 g5 a• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
