The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

- h; ~- I5 U( q3 j5 FResponsibilities include:
& ~9 q8 X0 U: z3 i  u$ a3 W• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
, c: Z, D- g' J' ?  L, N* B1 k# n• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
" w! l9 q& d4 G6 E. V• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
4 b$ S7 j7 f: y. v, \1 g$ ~4 TEducation
% d; y# s  J2 e2 Y6 Z) K( y• Completion of a high school diploma
5 [4 D. u8 _% a: d1 K1 E  q# F6 m" S• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
6 ]9 X  h% M0 d, {1 ?• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
" G# N5 H: g6 s• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
