peacefully resolve conflicts and develop healthy relationships in their communities.
) ?9 N. s9 u7 s% U Z% {1 aThe YOUCAN VERTO Project is a Government of Canada and Government of Albertafunded) t9 ^& W7 z9 n6 I U0 W
- t" U; C* ]! G/ p$ tproject that will bring at-risk youth together into a unique 15 -week groupbased
$ B" O/ V- n% T7 memployability skills program entitled “The VERTO Project”.( b) K& F6 L/ S$ q* X
The goal of the VERTO Program is to assist participants in obtaining and maintaining% o! ^9 O( s" `- ^+ i7 n7 q
the skills necessary to bring success into their lives. Verto program will expose
, T5 @$ d8 h/ t% }$ vparticipants to a wide range of components focusing on: employment development,3 A+ X& R& C* g. O5 d i1 z
personal wellness, technology learning, conflict resolution, and exposure courses.; F9 a5 ?3 I: s
Additionally, we will incorporate topics around health and wellness, volunteerism,9 K) I& h* z S5 s
and leadership courses. Verto youth will be provided with a six-month employment
' [& F+ Q/ \/ }, S. ifollow-up once the program is completed.

Verto project will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the
