Position:        Youth Leader
Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
2 [0 T7 b* e2 ~Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
* c( m, A. x$ ?6 j# DTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days

9 K6 Q; }7 ]! ODuties:
- u" g- z% }0 e& K6 hTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
6 B1 O' q) N1 \9 p Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
1 Z3 |" N1 ~$ C8 a( P Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
: n& }- U3 S5 Z0 O Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
; G. K5 R$ J/ q  g3 b  Y3 } Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
( R8 j* A+ W% H$ @% x9 h' u Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
. ]" O) A1 O  p6 N# a' `, N# d+ t Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

6 H# v0 y3 [0 O# w, n- sAttitude/Skills Requirements

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
9 M4 Z1 b  Z5 q4 T' D$ P Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
' \7 L6 p- W3 b) H& |3 L A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
" K5 p! y! j( O: a, S8 s Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
/ c- d5 o: l% Z% w2 s( P  I8 B Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
2 z% ?/ U% w. _4 q/ v Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
