. A5 v7 |5 k8 Dskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
& T$ q4 g( v" t$ {5 eDuties and responsibilities
4 |" S; j; h3 f: ?General
8 _7 {5 _" d7 V- D: U' H• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
6 d; \8 }9 Y- t. V8 i$ `8 S• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
4 Z6 j0 u0 }4 F- J3 qdevelopment, distributes and files same
5 b! X6 H( Q6 N& C% X7 m8 e• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
9 k+ g5 j% y: |5 e* z; J• Archives files
$ t! v# }' b5 f* S- i- d2 I• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
% i. @* @4 P0 u! \1 ?• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
4 a  c2 }: b  ^. J• Appointment and meeting scheduling
4 K. H: h0 Z3 K) Q! s• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
+ R  T/ H. y1 B1 U" f# w  a• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office
Administration
• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required
Accounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
7 s8 A! A( z$ w. P+ C• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
+ F. C6 i: r$ P2 h7 }, B# I6 Z• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required
• Clear criminal record check
• Requires personal vehicle

• Part time – 24 hours per week.

Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.
Vision: To create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton, fostering collaboration between non-profit organizations by
6 l3 Y' K1 F4 S9 Q5 cdeveloping a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
  N9 e- [7 u0 E3 c1 ?% r4 c; u0 Forganizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
and warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
