Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:4 P6 e$ Z2 B& h$ o' @
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;5 ]- z' O i. T8 t E8 z) X
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.# p7 z4 S# o9 \& D( e
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
