1. It's cool.# a2 X9 b# H$ i

# R& M8 M+ a$ K# [! (可指人或事物)也就是 something good or acceptable;situation is under control;being calm, gentle, courteous or good-looking;meet teen's standard.
. I8 Z3 e; [- _; q3 |  g    That's cool;he is cool;this is cool. ) U, V4 s) t# S+ H: P% r( e1 X
    Skydiving (或surfing) is cool.(跳伞或冲浪运动很不错)
' [- G4 {+ t& |/ o
! `2 Z: |" F5 T8 l+ G主词可用任何人称的单复数 (I, we, they 等),动词可用 verb to be 的任何时态 (is, was, were, will be, have been等)。 P" N; e% l
    She (He) was cool in the past.
  E& [  I* r" s    That's a cool T-shirt.(好看的运动衫) . W6 k* z4 R: _* \" Z3 }! w
    He (she) is a cool person.(文雅礼貌的人) 9 o  ~& o& E: G+ L* D
9 K( K; v( L* K
但是如果说:Are you cool? J/ x6 [! X2 Y' ~, E5 P
    She looks as cool as a cucumber. 又是恭维语,是说她很 calm and charming; not
. M- c8 r9 s# j    emotional. - s5 G. G+ }) J% k/ ]7 U0 x! t
    (注:许多华人把 cool 译成「很酷」) + k0 k9 N: M( B4 N- d
$ q$ T% z  k) O% j/ n, J7 N
2. Are you trippin'?
3 S" O4 L  t5 p( {% s) E% I/ p
这个字是现在分词当形容词用,是指行为异乎寻常,也许受到吸毒或喝酒的影响,而显得神魂颠倒、奇形怪状(to get high on drug such as LSD),也就是说:要不是受到药、酒的影响,你为什 显得这样古怪呢?(Are you under any influence of drug or alcoholic? Why are you so crazy and bizarre?)
    They are trippin'. (= tripping) 7 x, F+ z' d. k: R
    She (he) is trippin'. & V9 e7 `" }% Z! R3 W
Mr. A must be trippin'. ) ^/ f5 S8 h) @* H9 O2 T
& F; `3 M8 k8 ~% ^4 o
2 f$ Q8 ~/ t' f" o7 x& S! m3. He is a nerd6 g, g6 ~$ o9 _9 _  t
7 h7 u" R; f! A& _' I# D8 B8 Q6 {
(A person always buries his nose in books, but not good at social situations.)
4 T% ^! H/ M& s7 Y: O* F    He used to be a nerd in high school # v+ F& d. R' R, ]  j" \4 c

7 T; U/ r0 t* a4. Yo baby9 K, N; v: o- L3 {8 G! }
+ c! o  E- n4 ?5 i7 c
(He thinks she is pretty and attractive, so he wants to speak to her.),也就是找话题,想要「打开话匣」。(to use as a form of opening line or pick-up line or to begin a greeting; try to know her or date her) 如果说: 6 c3 ^" B/ t, c8 m! N4 L$ q
    Yo baby, are you trippin'?
May I help you with something? I think I have met you somewhere before.
; X% n% N# y& x/ U/ _.
3 T1 q9 S( p. c7 D    Hey, hey, hey, what's going on?“what is going on?”就是年轻黑人打招呼的用语 (a form of greeting or open statement) 或 Hey, hey, hey, are you going to the movie?(帅哥,你是去看电影吗?)
3 P0 M5 a8 ?% a/ V( n! q& M! C9 [& w) M' l) ?* ~8 q5 b
5. She is a ho1 p$ u7 T2 P5 K" E7 I
) @+ z- T" u& [4 I
(a girl or woman gives sex freely without charge),也就是说:She is very loose. 或 She is a loose woman (girl)。
& N5 @  L( ?- \2 n$ w% |2 ?    They are (were) hos.
  w1 S, Q3 e: G- [: ?2 ?0 o( U    There are quite a few hos in high schools. (a girl or woman is paid for sex.) " i" B) g5 x; w% @2 y
" D& I; b6 H5 c- F4 p7 N
6. Catch you later!/ j$ }$ L4 u3 G( d+ z) d

; [8 f. L. K! (a form to say“good乡bye”) 也就是说:现在没有时间与你交谈,以後再谈吧!(I don't have time to talk with you now, but we can talk later.) catch 後面,也可用其他人称代名词(him, her, them 等) # A! `4 z1 v3 F7 |& E5 [
有时年轻小伙子也用:I am off. I am leaving now; I'll talk to you again.
+ _+ ?8 ~4 w( j! S8 D8 Z(我要走了,再谈吧!)
