根据Driver Training and Driver Examination Regulation, Alta Reg 316/2002:

19(1) A person shall not give driver training for consideration unless the person

) A# j7 c5 C1 L (a) holds a subsisting instructor’s licence, and

7 K! C" r, |. ~9 y, U) k: {6 Z (b) is employed by a driver training school.

9 f5 n3 {3 H- n+ Y& o(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to 8 ^+ G$ T9 U/ g, s
1 b7 \; v" C* \' f' ]8 n, m (a) a teacher employed by a board under the School Act who is giving classroom training only while in the course of that employment, or1 K; @2 f2 l' j( a# ^ {3 V
