An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.

Police charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.+ U) B9 _) t% `% W0 i- ^, W! V- K
) W1 r" r8 |4 X+ K2 x
The 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week.

In a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo. 7 T) v6 N$ j c. Z) `* R x5 A2 o
