FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 b' }4 e0 j8 f/ c& i! {•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
% j$ w* w/ L% x( j: X+ p6 I•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.
! h$ B$ T2 |8 }2 ]7 d
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
. s! n" U2 P. x- \" J2 t; c$ U•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
6 e$ c- T+ x% E: Y1 D•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
•        Proficiency in use of the English language.
•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
•        Willingness to maintain proficiency by embracing new technologies.
