Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
5 R  b: P2 _2 U1 E5 g- _( xMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
# q: W, B+ M" uMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
School)
0 i  r) k0 Q( H. B: C9 ?1 oMust have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
3 S& q; w9 G  h1 K" W' z: i& j, {Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
4 r- r8 Q3 h2 P/ cMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
% O4 H8 m2 O3 ]* R  gMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
