Senior C# Developer IT

Our centrally located client delivers a unique set of Web-based services for real-time collaboration. As part of the development team, the Senior C# Developer will play a significant role in the development of real-time data delivery applications. We need an adaptable, self-motivated developer who has excellent communication skills, a passion for quality, and enjoys client interaction. Enjoy a supportive group of committed professionals, an agile and innovative culture, and challenging development work.

The successful candidate will:

* Participate in the software/component development lifecycle
* Participate in the analysis, design, code & testing of existing and new components
* Follow the organization's software development processes including quality assurance and version control
* Design/plan/perform maintenance, enhancement, development and testing tasks on new and existing in-house desktop and/or web applications.

The successful candidate will have:

* Post secondary training in Computer Science or Engineering (Minimum 2-Year Program)
* Minimum 5 years employment related software development experience
* Strong C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript (Prototype or JQuery) development skills
* MS SQL development and administration skills
* Excellent understanding of Object-oriented programming
* Experience with Visual Studio
* Ability to travel as required

The icing on the cake:

* Knowledge of REST and WCF
* Knowledge of COM/DCOM, OPC, Modbus, Industrial Historian Databases
* Knowledge of development components such as TeamCity, Subversion, and Redmine

真是羡慕呀,佩服呀,有专业真好呀,好工作随处都在接应呀!不象我没有专业,英文又烂,只有最底层的工作挑我们,还挑不到,看来我是不是也该去好好下决心读书学个专业了,现在艰难一点不要紧,最起码英文好了,有自己的专业,会让自己将来的日子有希望了,唉,生活呀!我要经营好你呀!恭喜有本事的人们发达.

  我在国内一直从事互联网。工作10多年了。开始是开发工程师，做过c(unix/informix)，后来做过php和C#，之后一直从事项目管理和互联网产品管理。现在是中国互联网络信息中心下属公司的高级产品总监。

  对一个新移民来说不容易啊，第一要过english这一关第2还要full-time去学什么专业顺利读完也几年了，但生活的压力可不减轻。不同的人就要按自己的实际情况出发，不可能看到别人怎样就自己怎样去跟，情况不同，结果永远不同。还有english够用就可。; s. g/ y% I, S1 h# I5 g7 O3 F
  我认识一对夫妻，在12年前他们2个都在工厂割肉，几年后他们开个第一个nail店，到现在在edmonton开2个了，他们现在都不用干收入都大概12000左右/月，我堂姐在那干一个月大概4000几，他们的english也不见好到那。 $ ?" v6 w7 a; u, t: v' A
  我一年前刚来edmonton（以前在vancouver住了2年）的第一分工作就10快/小时，40hours 每周，真低啊。刚来edmonton有2个月都没找到工作，苦。难忘的一回，我到一个sushi店（就在四宝火窝旁边那一间）面试一个part-time的杂工，那老板在后面说了一句：现在由不了你选时间，人多的是，想你什么时间就什么时间来，不怕没人。都后面还是没有。后来也在北面那个北仔记干part-time杂工还连干bus boy。 3个月后我就找到一份在西人工厂labour工（english很一般），工作期间就利用coffee time 和lunch time 学习那工厂需要的技术，5个月后就考了一个entran exam 1 t, R6 ~2 u! s3 F! s8 Y5 w' |
通过就混到nait里面读一个学徒训练program（我的english还很烂说都说不好，就会看几个word），读书时老师说的有6成听不懂，自己就拿个电子词典把教科书都看2篇（english这样差，都这样懒呵呵）还好读完这program后也通过了政府的 AIT EXAM。  都现在我是 2X快/小时了，工资会一年比一年高，一年后不会少过80k。到现在我的english也不好，听说都很差就可简单的交流，在西人厂就我一个chinese 到现在还过的很好。
