Help: Buying a car with title "leased vehicle"

( e4 s5 W/ e- d7 y# G* d2 {/ R$ V  I am going to buy a car, but when I am going to pay today. I notice that the title on the registration is " leased vehicle". Then I asked the seller and he told me he has paid off the lease, but he has not updated the info with the registry. I have not paid him yet. So I just wonder if
/ N5 \- u( [: K  Ehe needs to update the title with the registry first before I buy it?

he just needs to provide me the document showing he has paid off the lease (from the dealer or the bank). Then I go to register the new car with all those information.
