Integrated training offers a blend of occupation-related skills, a work
- e2 P7 d; J' Oexperience and competency-based training, such as applied academics or

• technical English language skills

• EMCN recruits for ETIP and has a strong relationship with the

What is the evidence of success?
1 A! A) @, F% W# _, r% ~, [# g$ TAs of 2003, more than 80% of ETIP graduates over the past six years have- p9 f# S7 ], j
found engineering or engineering technologist employment in Alberta.
+ }: F% h' j* L# @& K+ ~# wIn 2004, 46 engineers graduated from the ETIP program. At the time of" n& a; @( \# _2 k( G! o' z
graduation, almost half had secured employment in the engineering industry,# Y' [: T" |4 `, r7 ~
with over 90% employed at three months post-graduation.
