ENGL111,is it easy to pass?

大家好，我是新生，也是刚从国内出来。现在面临选课难题。有人建议第一年最好不要选ENGL111,恐怕英语能力吃不消。可是这就意味着在第一年就要选适当数目的二年级课程，困难也是有的。我是学生物的，想听听各位学兄学姐的意见。多谢！

Engl 111 is also called Engl 101. Actually I am doing this course right now. It is very difficult for English as a second language students, and most international students cannot get high marks in this course. You know what, we need to write four essays about novels and poems. Think about it, learning Engish poems and novels of William Shakespeare, Unbelievalble. It is most difficult for me.However, if you work hard and read a lot and your English level is not very bad. You can pass naturely. Please notice, if you want to learn Biology, I think Engl 111 is required courses in the first year. So please double check your Major required courses, then ask me if you still have some questions.

太谢谢了。不过可能是我对UA制度不太了解，我以为选课只是受到prerequisite的限制，但是没有说一年级的课必须一年级修完，只要在毕业前修完就行了。如果不是这样的话，我就惨了，因为我一口气就选了4门二年级的课。

6 k8 C( m9 e& v* f3 J0 C' T$ C8 bEnglish 111 is not hard to pass, depend on your desire.Usually, students could get c and B level mark.English 101 is more difficult than English 111, ENG111 is the prepared course for ENG 101.Some lucky guys get good mark because of the instructor, choose a nice teacher,hopefully.
