1 A, z1 i# t$ z1 A4 i  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
  k3 S/ _, ?# m, P, ~Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
* Q. }9 V' k# b7 g- G+ ^' z" cEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
& A' k( y$ G, l) s, |6 QPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions
& F1 `7 x+ F2 C6 r2 CPerforms related duties as required
% n& d6 Y1 J0 Z0 }/ i1 `  KQualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

+ M: i8 w* j' ?4 f7 oCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
Forklift operating certificate
