Basement building permit

I'm finishing the basement by myself and need to apply basement building permit. I was wondering how much I should claim my basement building value. If I say 5000 $ which pay less inspection fee, does it affect the resale value of my house later? or I say 10000$, pay more inspection fee and property tax now.

you should apply the permit before you do the job. now you have to contact them by phone for inspection. good luck

+ H) N* O7 D& W% b8 x" X6 o/ iyou shouldn't full finish your basement.you can say that you havn't finished for tolal project, I think less than $5000 if that is being finished by your self include all nonremovable equipment and materials.

问题是，如果你已经完成了，再申请检测就行不通拉
如果已经安装了drywall，电线在内墙部分的看不到，怎么检测？
