■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
! Z$ x1 B% d, |) G- g7 L+ n■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects. s/ A; u1 h. G2 |
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
8 _! S: g3 n8 h- g9 i: \3 k/ HExperience and Education:
6 r5 `+ v& V8 X" u" N■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
4 R# {, L5 \2 Y8 K, G■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.; N% O) I' q. R$ G4 v8 P: h8 R) h0 I
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
% H& G; K9 P9 Y! I! }3 d% [■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;8 |1 y0 L4 j0 ^. W2 ~4 }+ Q
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;: m' J3 h* a" u
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.) c9 g! D' m; B( K& V5 U) w# O
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
