+ W* I% k" m3 a■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
" m2 l# r( A4 ^* p' |0 z■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.7 @; h; `( d/ z8 w
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships5 D6 W! d0 Z* y# t5 P# P
Experience and Education:
: {8 z; g1 m1 X& v! d" v& K3 B; B8 N& f■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
* D- z( O! t' D# z( Q$ t) f■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.' Y0 t1 _. P3 [7 D8 R: E; V0 L
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset., ^1 }7 h* w& I- S1 I- O
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;% J' M. p: ^1 } t
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
% J$ c- I" _, O■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
" b% R1 C: @# D$ D; }■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.5 ] r, j# s: d! z0 k9 {+ x# j
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.# n* z; p9 ?$ o+ M$ O- W1 q/ F- e
