Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

3 x3 K! ]5 G  r5 y■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
! o9 T1 i: w$ B+ G( d) v■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
$ q. @: S9 |2 f0 ~8 Q! U/ s1 d■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
) j5 y% c- O( v/ {! Q! }7 }9 HExperience and Education:
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
, c% O; e/ F' Z/ {4 v- H■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
. [+ d, Q0 |8 P5 c6 _+ c■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
: j9 a1 P1 d+ Z& k$ D# j! j: q: m■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
$ [- ~+ h, D, b& L0 f! Z■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
