Responsibilities6 ]6 ?9 T; y3 p! b; X @
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.# X) J, L) i0 P/ e
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
; M8 R- G8 e0 D: m1 S" V3 q■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships- T( [5 V$ V% a/ e
Experience and Education:
3 z. X: F }2 ?" ?: n■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.$ b8 {* V" L8 }# l# m
■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
; _6 d- n+ L0 D1 b■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.0 K+ E( ]. u! @( _
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;' }9 B7 \0 I. z# b
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
' a8 }2 X5 K5 b■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
. G+ u" H9 w, a1 j+ a■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing., Y6 Z/ `" |5 w! F2 ]
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA./ L/ c f; }0 B3 F
