 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.

 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.0 n: S8 u& z3 }8 U
 Completing required paperwork.
! H, [8 G5 T" m: b# h& N* K# i4 s Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.! ~1 w& {" g& M6 k8 ]& v) r" I; Y
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.6 k1 ^/ r9 D' M- ]7 L9 h
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. - u* r( T2 V. P; v$ _2 s7 L% ?, w
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner." `7 x* G& N) R, f7 K( A0 O& R
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
' l* a7 j( [* Q% [0 c Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.9 a6 w$ j" v6 Z/ ^1 n0 `
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.4 c7 ?3 G {5 O7 c7 b8 b
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
. m; F+ B/ l |4 T/ v Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
- O0 U4 V5 x! w/ a' I' S) ^8 P Knowledge of community resources.
5 k5 o4 s2 ~8 @( S& c6 w/ y Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.+ [- h' M$ _0 G6 I* s) b
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.
