, Z1 G7 V! a u4 ^ Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
7 u! W$ I+ W% I: P$ S) C Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.1 r( Z+ W1 [7 h _$ q8 A v
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
( o5 `# m2 F+ t1 v Completing required paperwork.
6 r. `: x( R X Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
# o1 b2 {/ v$ C: [* X/ p6 B Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.

 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.. i @7 M3 |4 v3 d! |
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.; l. d; A( `6 s) S! d
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

Qualifications:8 i5 y l2 y* U* I5 y6 N8 ~
3 U; j: a8 g& ^5 b) H Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
5 }8 q- M4 G# k' R. b" O: H Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
- t6 P' t, S5 ?# C4 { Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
( j( J( f8 H3 x7 M9 M5 n' w% G Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
2 _0 T! k5 ~5 I5 w0 k Knowledge of community resources.
3 v* Q8 V3 H7 v( L4 U Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.. d: V: O j2 i$ R% W
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
