The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. + |- E9 W) J3 B/ g

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
4 j- S4 `& v4 q• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required, A# T6 K6 i& T+ O: C
• Answer multi line telephone system

) T8 t9 H; E. H4 W6 K+ oAdministration:
' Z5 U! {9 b- k6 I! l• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
2 q9 g" b$ p& `. k7 x• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
' ]* {7 P) R) s. Q2 ^8 U• Input and manage high volume of data; v+ i! i$ i; O2 f
• Update and maintain databases2 p) f2 b \& |
• Generate monthly reports and statistics- e' }' m; J& O. V: Q$ S6 O1 D
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
8 a' h- J% y# l m1 R" {• Process payments and complete weekly deposits) @* K' d6 U# [, e/ X. k
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms/ M3 c+ j7 H) B e. l
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors0 G- q8 \ r- y
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre( }# e, _( S+ K# ^% A U
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients2 A0 w/ H8 A' |$ S

Qualifications:% E( A+ b, G B5 O! X& o. T
" z- R" W0 ]/ N( {0 o3 g3 o
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
( ^8 E& n' P, `( {0 B+ h9 T• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ; R8 J% `" p4 C& ]. v
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills9 F, a, r- |% b) L% V9 R3 O
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work& x9 Y+ E R. t. F$ t0 n! s( ]) [( y, O
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
7 G/ J4 ], k. U: J* j: ^• Strong customer service skills
$ h8 d8 O. A. f# E4 w• Strong organizational skills and abilities
