MS.[MIZ]是随着女权运动而出现的。MRS.会让人首先想到这位女士是谁的妻子,MISS又会让人先想到她是谁的女儿,女性自己在哪里呢?这样MS.出现了,这个称呼即适用于未婚女性,又适用于已婚女性,就像男性一样,婚否并不影响其称呼。但这个称呼也并非用的非常普遍。不过在正式的信件中(但女性婚否又不重要,比如商业信函中),MS.还是用的挺多的。我们公司以前的SALES MANAGER在与客户通信时一律用MS.的。
