Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

4 G) d# Y$ j' E, N7 YWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
% r5 q. h: ^4 ^8 B  L& V; K* xReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
: f0 Y8 ^& a. x0 f2 oMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications
/ |, s$ s, t- d8 i8 z2 |1 z; b
* S" U7 Q4 o% S6 Q$ |' _% |Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
8 [$ }/ o# I' F. iMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
, H1 d; p7 }& |9 Y- ~7 K0 mExperience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
