, g8 G" l( f5 W5 NMajor Responsibilities:
•        Process research equipment design;
: `/ s' o1 f7 R' K. D8 M: {$ n/ ]•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
  O3 r5 b* c5 ~: j" I" R, u- A•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

, b3 k8 d0 a' ^# V9 ~$ F- {Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
