8 X7 L7 y  {! K3 t, a( E7 d•        Process research equipment design;
& Y4 P" F' ~+ f; \•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
: H; t/ X8 W) p2 b0 d: Z4 ?•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
% o, y; l+ m  B  ]; ?, H8 }•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
•        Others.

Qualifications:
. ~* M1 r* e+ H& m•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
•        Familiar with CAD software;
9 t5 q" |# ]9 h  y0 E2 ^2 s•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
. `& m: y1 j- `+ _5 M: j! B/ \•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
