 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.- P7 n8 a( v7 I) r
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.& i( z# d5 B" G9 G! m) D5 X# O
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.! H& I" |: n( ?
 Completing required paperwork.2 \1 p8 O7 h7 K
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
1 m4 f( n- f' M) r Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
( Z: D3 |! Z( ~" {8 S7 G Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
) ]4 d s G7 _6 w! M, @9 c# M Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
0 n2 S3 O; @# p9 {; A7 Q Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills." @4 z/ p5 A |. r) m4 K4 K
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
3 G8 @. t G8 v2 ]) j- O( Y2 ? Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.% S- P! `$ a5 {. C+ g; S& H
 Knowledge of community resources.
) v( y! D5 T) W) l' a: c) K: T# `1 S Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.0 s5 P1 u* q6 Z8 n/ j) _
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
