Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
) V' r9 F  O- e; n) U7 Ement as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
1 F3 [. w( ?6 UThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
8 k- M/ w2 N$ H( r4 P# ~* b4 B/ FŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
( j8 g1 y( H$ \support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
/ t2 f7 O9 D  [3 I. t) M; [$ I1 y0 }- kimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
) E9 [8 e% M0 m. DŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
& E" V5 U1 p2 u- T, {Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
0 s# g% z; g. A. l. U! D/ @Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
" @! c7 m, `& e1 S( ?0 Ieducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 [2 ~4 |  T- t2 R; N( o' d' jŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
; A9 {. Q  y9 U- S+ N1 K8 TŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
2 R9 d; B3 P. t+ d' u1 Rverbal and written.
8 }& W4 v0 O( YLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
