Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
4 u. A  S7 E0 |. i6 Gment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
% w8 B9 {/ R8 e  r# RThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
* f2 }3 R6 A9 S1 z1 mŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
7 d$ x- |; q. Y9 r& n+ E0 rthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
( L. \/ f; Q/ `4 T1 j- X. xsupport;
/ }4 j, Q* @$ m1 X8 |  T9 kŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
; ]  `" f& e2 o. p" EŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
9 ?- l, C$ w" e- s8 \Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
# v2 Y! K+ B7 b; M1 z# B& L9 SŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
" [9 L* o9 O( b/ v* N4 {3 YŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
+ K8 m% u' M& x- B  |/ keducation and experience;
3 M: K+ T1 g" Y' I3 iŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
" w: h6 V4 \3 R4 K3 dŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
5 Q! X1 L9 P$ x* xverbal and written.
+ }2 m( S  y2 xLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
