Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
/ G  C) T4 D! X" _ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
: b9 }  i, \& O( W/ W% e% C7 M- P0 `3 AThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
" ~" Q' j" p* o: |# U- fŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
& _& u2 k; Q: h; h/ Ethe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
; l" `% c9 [0 l5 D1 V' ksupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
3 p* f$ q2 m9 b' O) nimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
- K# t0 L7 E, E. x# l- {" eŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
( L  |% G% C; Q* leducation and experience;
7 `1 F# v& s. A/ c7 P+ n: vŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 ]1 W# o5 r+ I! h& ?Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
