Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
9 l. _$ \8 U3 h; Y1 J& l* bment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
0 Z& U/ m: c4 M: MThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
0 p4 o7 B+ ~; {$ Z4 _/ X, A3 ]the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
4 I! F9 A/ E" l3 r+ Y4 FŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
& i9 H' ^2 W2 D! l/ JŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
, s0 x* @; a- @  s- Timplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
9 |, P. Z6 L; k* C" @Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
% m! a0 d2 B7 JŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
/ [- d0 `$ A# O- uŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
" W8 m! ^# f0 {education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ S2 P+ a: k9 p4 aŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
* q: I5 w+ n) b& xŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
- P! S  g# c. ~* G$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
