Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: D) s: b$ n( d* \# T( S/ B" F* qthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
4 `+ v& `+ l9 m* c! \% C8 c/ WŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
2 A+ G- _3 k3 V" T0 l; b: Kimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
- J5 Y8 |. e4 `! x" O0 w& eŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
, T3 E" c; O4 P& x7 @$ J3 |0 m7 U% jŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
' n% G3 v( ~7 y- D" CŸ Other duties as required.
/ J& p4 }4 f1 K; n9 z: {+ Q* uQualifications:
! k' V! H1 N6 |Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both

Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
) k) t$ L0 `! {% s  C5 Y$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
