This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
& a, ?5 I' T5 s9 ICreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
; m7 q4 |2 C1 ~, W; ^$ U6 C. mB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
Several years related experience in a similar environment
, D3 q3 X$ [" I# \7 ^Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
! w* k( p+ V4 w; f1 E8 bKnowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
4 j1 d2 ?- _9 aExcellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
' }- O- R5 V) J& {6 Z  U$ vOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
