8 z# A% `- D, l1 J6 }7 W% F AThe Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:

7 a! u5 g- n3 T& d# C6 v· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops.

· Working with other operational areas in maintaining an ever evolving desktop support model.. ?; q' }) y! `& E& i
; J* P) X4 ~, F( d# `· Ensuring the Desktop Support Area is meeting /exceeding performance expectations defined in Service Level Agreements, by providing essential metrics for performance monitoring.

· Establishing standards, procedures and documentation for the Desktop Support area.

· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.

· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.

4 a* W6 E4 D. @· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.

HOURS OF WORK:

21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
