General Terms of Use

1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service
0 \0 ~% } f4 m3 W8 D is available to all campers by telephone at 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783) between
' O) K, F* R1 U m: b. V 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.- M( P0 x0 H9 u: U5 t" D P
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
s7 [" B/ `; ` on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
+ K6 C7 i& }* P2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your
. r1 O/ T+ u1 s7 l" @0 ^2 b reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park

due when you make your reservation.
1 E4 g2 H* T0 S, b* {: S7 ?4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
+ q9 c4 _. f! s national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon

5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of+ p. c3 r+ s1 H7 s1 \
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as
4 G5 N: E2 M6 N% I a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
0 l+ J/ ?2 D% ~; J campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.
+ h. O3 i$ }8 L$ V5 ~6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on
' ~# h5 b% ?) s$ J( M2 ?3 S2 u a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of; d" S, M; N, s
campsite; and the service type.
! ]: D; K2 B1 @* }7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously5 R" w# N& J0 D' R2 ?8 g( x
confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.

All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at
9 N( |' s/ U4 \% k/ t4 j least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received3 ~/ p5 \* E; s4 N0 m5 H# B$ X2 P
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made.

10. Confirmation number: A confirmation number will be provided at the end of every completed b9 ?- n5 b* b: [
reservation. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your reservation is not complete.

It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to. P& Y( R6 G+ U4 F2 w3 S
the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you

will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you

9 p) T# I1 j6 {2 \/ I b - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,
8 Z* F- u( z' f( J+ ~6 ? you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
; |9 v- T" ^3 ]' d& v reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
" y$ B) b' l! u$ o# B; i you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.
+ a/ F5 Z6 y E3 u; ?0 K, p+ L - Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
1 b, m2 ?& k7 M- x9 ` 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night

13. Changes after check-in: We will do our best to accommodate any changes you request to

guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change9 q; [/ z" H' C
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the
3 [* a# q6 L- d services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
5 _: }# o3 |. ?) b- D3 u change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited.
. x3 j8 e. W# ~14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving
& U; x& q e3 K9 {. P8 J, W1 }2 v! o$ h earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground# M7 Q4 _2 f8 p- {
prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee# W1 j2 Z8 }# Y1 \! ?% v

expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground

: k3 c0 G$ ^2 \6 L+ H* @16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:
; O9 f8 F7 \6 W+ q8 n If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
6 n1 k# b4 v4 g. | expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two
# ^ ?1 C' |# [: q nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see
0 o& l! @' y+ c; H- V# [ policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late

17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your + X- ~2 y" m$ i0 k% }. ^3 S
scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
# a' _( X8 l% e8 Z your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."

) k) [5 q4 O0 c4 W When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite; o1 X0 d5 q% z4 U$ @
will be made available to other campers.! |0 q, }! S; z

If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees- Y. c- k- U; l! O! q
paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,
& D% D* K2 U5 e5 N reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days% n) _7 ~! F" P r5 f
of your originally scheduled departure date.
