Persons With Developmental Disabilities , Michener Services - Michener Services IT Department is hiring into a contract position and the responsibilities w1ll be:

Network Administration,
) v, J) m& `% R) H* S% x" g/ KApplication training (on-site or classroom environment),
Generating departmental reports,
Field technician,
Desktop support

9 t$ n1 I4 o9 r1 s6 PThe IT Services department at Michener Services provides support for a wide range of specialized information systems (30+) running on a 230+ workstation (Windows 2000) LAN in a Novell Netware multi-server environment. Migrating to a Windows 2000 Server environment within the GOA domain is an immediate project and assistance with this project is a requirement of the position. Your well developed written and oral communication skills will allow you to effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders to define business requirements.

, E# J' }4 r; vQualifications: A two year technical diploma in Computer Systems or related university degree with experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2000 computer systems, with providing desktop support in a network environment, with networking hardware and software, and with instructing users in a working environment. and possessing experience with instructing users in a working environment. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in a help desk support role and to those who have experience as a network administrator using Novell NetWare 5.x, experience with Microsoft Office 97 / 2000 and have given formal computer training. Experience supporting a Windows 2000 server environment is an asset. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening.
