Job Purpose
& c9 Z" [5 x& ~Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
+ u* h0 n- k% B4 b( B  o6 rcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
2 Y( U) |% j& o# wDuties and Responsibilities
5 F5 o$ z# }$ Y2 B6 TCustomer Service
/ K7 q- {6 L4 {& G• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
& \  ]9 E' b4 ?• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
4 E3 x% w% g5 B8 l4 F9 ^8 K& [looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
. e, Q9 N: p; T2 g• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
7 ~5 u5 e) i( X! G• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
5 j3 ~8 q1 Q, q% e0 P• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
. d8 Y3 g; J% ?3 m% i! S/ d' A• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
& V3 `' L# \7 d9 R7 w7 C. F• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Demanding workload
& f2 y# ?% C" m. \8 O8 w+ n) rPhysical Requirements
; c( D( v9 t  {6 _9 g* K' D• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
5 v) ?* c9 ^' H! W  Q0 x' j/ R• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
