SALES CLERKS

Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
- }0 E5 Q8 i. K( ]operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
" p) i# m: Y% z. L4 U7 dthe Store Manager.
0 D2 V% c3 Z7 ^3 ~, @1 QDuties and Responsibilities
' i, H% p  o' bCustomer Service
) O1 m, p4 s4 h6 W' m• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
' P+ q0 D: G+ d3 ?4 Q' a! F• Assist customers find what they are looking for
4 ]8 Q+ m+ u3 Y/ B- ?3 U  P• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
5 h* }/ _$ I0 ystock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
7 B8 H+ z. {, {# V/ x1 ]looks under 25 years of age

• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
$ t4 U+ E  r3 b• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
9 Y# k- P* U9 W! x/ B• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
& d+ Z" Y8 J% |• Protect company assets at all times
0 y" l  \. d' H• Close the store (key holders)
* v% K3 {3 o. L7 k6 _• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
& b! E- v7 z* ~% h6 a! @• High School graduate
8 e6 f9 S/ }3 b! ]/ E• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
& e3 O$ y* {2 A• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
5 x# i( d% L) E: _+ t# achanges in strategies
$ ?9 M. \* Z' G2 IWorking Conditions
• Fast paced environment
& m/ s5 g# T, B5 s' v/ ?• Demanding workload
0 e- S7 D; i5 r& r; SPhysical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
! P6 U' T) y, z• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
