O8 K% [- X$ y Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
$ n$ F, o, q% L/ e. e9 e& n4 k Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

+ i' p1 h% {' t* JWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

% V5 I0 Y) w6 O! V( A0 K9 [Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

/ O3 w# `7 a; ?" g# M$ u2 RLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

# d, N6 v9 d3 a2 i) M% x6 S. d5 hWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

% g! S, w$ D$ A5 A: s' H) A: \8 m9 @Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

8 H! Y0 T4 n/ J5 K3 o9 I$ ?; C. I Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;
# M. E7 c( g" Y6 z! X1 \9 Y% ^
Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

) t% |3 a- a# M, N0 TStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;
