Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
! n; ^! \; T, S" y0 U, A Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

, Q) ^" v5 d7 N: l; ]) [Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

- D! C, T' C" p6 a) u- ^( ILiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

/ Q+ X7 A9 X  |8 D7 H/ o9 C( AWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

  U% C7 Q, z0 @" X; q, q/ X& oSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

" f9 d& e& r5 h4 {. O, K4 J! xAssist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
# d/ s8 H: q& c; ~2 B3 B Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

6 Y4 u4 B4 p. }+ L. X10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

* j2 ?; H& a* G7 YGas industry experience preferred;

- p8 X' X' Z% w' {! ]Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
( h8 H3 U' b* V& O8 u7 @
Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

8 T. M1 f+ G6 rStrong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
