C Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

0 a6 @8 v- y8 i8 Z+ B% P Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

4 N$ @6 B  [3 \" GWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

7 s4 t$ b! A3 {Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

0 ~$ f) M/ @# w1 W1 l- t: PLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
+ M& a  g4 e3 n: n% E; m) vManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

; V2 ~+ e: X8 n7 G/ cProvide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

Specific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

4 V  ^, N8 @( x$ n$ d+ S! E. x Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

Experience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

A high degree of personal initiative;

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
