, o) m6 e: x2 k6 v& p0 D1 lReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

1 v: T, t' K, _5 M. X7 |5 U* fKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 h! i+ j- u% [6 Z7 o5 h7 y        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
9 g9 i) @: e$ @! [/ x0 [        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
) D. F3 ]* o9 d5 @' v( {* ^        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

) R6 ^# Q( [  V7 I) z9 I. f/ {. iQUALIFICATIONS:
& g3 ~* Y6 \* g  Z•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
7 ^6 J( q/ I" A1 V•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
6 o9 A5 c8 e8 L  P: I* Y•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
" X* U, P2 V! C; z& A- v: g•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
2 U: O1 _; ?5 N( P5 H•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
