$ K- w9 y# K0 l4 Q7 G5 ~9 t1 hReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
4 b, Q1 V0 l, `$ a  m0 B$ c* E! O        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
6 M5 T( @4 P$ F        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

' |& a3 K- W: {  j) A$ a; tQUALIFICATIONS:
* a2 h1 M; P& W2 Z) `6 i•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
6 p% h, _* k# V& D1 B•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
5 N& A8 H/ ]8 I0 x: d( g/ @•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
