0 Y2 k0 [# p/ SReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
/ {% z* s! L! W  V' f        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
5 F7 R" I* |! H        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
) {* B9 e$ N1 _/ x/ U; t9 [9 j•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
  ?; \3 s  T" X2 j•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
. ?7 W; N1 U5 F5 V' G•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
$ \" O$ U, ~/ Q% O/ I•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
# n3 e4 w/ T/ `3 K$ ]3 C•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
- w; |- [7 Z- |5 j, a, F0 X•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
9 w# N* |1 O: o7 @•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
2 `6 w9 y$ X7 d; T5 Z. D•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
