$ P' K4 P+ O' O" T9 vReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.2 r* Q6 n5 ` i- a

 Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
* ]- B" a$ Q+ ^) P, U3 @ Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
6 v9 {+ `- @- L6 [ Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
2 K$ k6 N: `6 @ Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

QUALIFICATIONS: % e' ~) r8 [% g3 V1 _4 P5 y
• Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman4 N( O, u4 G7 g( y1 c
• Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings ?( T" A2 }: g& _
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman' K% G1 s3 d4 w! G
• Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
; U8 ]! |% X8 L1 E2 u' |3 U7 `• Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
5 M% N: y, L% J" }! k3 S$ Y# g3 }• Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects0 l/ [8 z0 P T! H2 H: q3 M
• Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office4 m! l6 u2 n9 l6 p+ v, f& A
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
