Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards.

Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects.

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by:

6 A7 K, g7 n- @5 k& D1 }6 ~Managing critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards, # w% j8 {, h1 \$ [( G Y
1 K/ ^" q% q0 z# TPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,
) v9 e* G0 z2 o5 S
2 o1 W) |/ [( P2 ~# @! WEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates, 3 l7 f, o0 F* r

Developing and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

0 j4 Q9 w1 |* Y4 S- B4 UPerforming quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers, ! w; u. D) M9 Z b# X

Incorporating new technology and best practices with focus on solving business problems and operational requirements in a competitive environment. 4 |1 q; y% u1 a$ l5 i
Qualifications : W( c/ [- r' ?" b$ \, e2 p2 `3 {
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution.
5 a0 k" d4 x" L! X+ E/ v/ b3 u8 J) I; s" E, c
10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
0 |# E* h2 d9 _% i# I% r1 B# J: v' p% B& X# Z: w: D) M
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
9 h9 U* q% t, V! S8 x5 T5 v: ^4 o/ ]% c4 j6 t }. L
Registered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired.
