Turn around mean shutdown.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

I printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
% f! t( Y" n9 qOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
" [& U* Z- T* zAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
My foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
