Turn around mean shutdown.
It could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

6 C) |2 ?3 W9 d2 D- f# w* [  ]I printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
One local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
* G2 J) y, w0 L& s8 \" U6 V8 uAnother said:” maybe means shutdown.”
; r; F! s; W* j8 n+ AMy foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
