Real world gas mileage post

Recently I began to monitor the gas mileage of my 90 Chevy Corsica,V6/3.1L 3speed automatic transmision. Curb weight about 2885 lb
The gas mileage measure method I got from a local friend is that fullfill the gas tank each time, put down the mileage and gas volume(litre) filled in, then
The gas mileage = (next time mileage - previous time mileage) /(next time filled gas volume)
0 s9 v- b6 E/ {  c6 X7 }After convent to MPG(mile per gallon), the result I got is 26 MPG

& u4 r, Q: W9 hOfficial gas mileage is  MPG (City/Hwy) 4 cyl 24/33 v6 21/29

Conversion:
1 Litre =  0.264172 Gallon
, k, |% ^1 e: c) v1 Km  =   0.62137 Mile
