Any input on Cutler-Hammer Starter?

Two  cutler –hammer advantage  starters are  doing the same thing:
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the  start and stop buttons on DCS screen  , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

; ^9 ?7 a( |$ }- a+ D7 {/ ]7 Y  xWe isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
$ c8 w' w/ C" R" F. z. c5 N/ nSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
The problem should be inside the bucket.

( \1 \& I8 B$ v$ B* F4 kWhen the problem happened, we observed that  the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
, _" ?+ d$ O8 o- _0 N  A/ n; FConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we  bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

# \) v; y6 f9 RThe next thing we can think of  is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
; D# V  a3 \5 s4 f6 L7 w* DThey  have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered  the connection and tried again.
It is getting better  this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

Don't know cutler –hammer advantage  starters very well, but had been worked on AB switch gears for a little while, which has two different coils, one to pull the vacum bottles up which employs larger current, another one uses less current to hold the connection---if the second coil fails, it won't be able to seal the connection.
+ G% Q  D! E! y7 \( g  A' ASince your cutler -hammer works couple times,  I guess 侠客行 is right, or the sealing connection is just worn out.
