Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
& o2 d* Y2 _" K. Q# x3 Q/ g4 p" H After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

The problem should be inside the bucket.

9 e5 w; Z% i8 X" UWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal." M+ D: |9 I; G, r7 n- { _% C
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
/ @; |# K# G. P7 _7 oConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same./ `& ^" t% T) c1 C

The next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
, @1 `& V9 X; \; B5 r* j& wThey have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
8 x8 V. I1 B0 c& s$ n' ? It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them. * r% w- m" K) C o x* ^
