Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:& p* l t$ ~! N% _9 z/ X
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.

The problem should be inside the bucket.

" m$ q" D- U+ ~" fWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.

~0 ~9 L5 r e! j! k, _Confirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.. k7 @( B6 S9 K2 R
% t: P5 f% O$ F) WThe next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look./ R. m8 Y" R( j0 z
They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
( E2 Q% j! o' M8 F6 o, Y It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.
