# Q" |# K# g5 J5 M) _On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.+ L9 r L) w8 G* j$ Z v
1 T8 L c- R- p. OBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
9 i* y! k; g; U6 X n, S' `digging for and examining fossils , { J+ t% K, x5 _: O- S2 }8 K+ c
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
5 g+ c Q! A: s( e/ e3 iinvestigating insects
4 f- v) e8 T; P% rand much more!& {8 d+ Q; I# I. ?
“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.9 {) J: `6 h, p
2 }, W0 R/ r m! k7 T& ^/ m. jScience Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
