March 7th: the University of Alberta Museums’ annual Science Sunday for kids!

On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

9 Z2 P& R" h0 ~Bring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

! ~5 \6 @4 K5 _1 Flearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
6 i, ^3 B" _1 E2 Fdigging for and examining fossils
$ x' U" O' y7 Lexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
" s. M7 [' W6 ?, binvestigating insects 3 e1 O6 r L/ ~
and much more!
3 y0 h' x2 f! H8 M- M“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
